Features/Improvements

• Mark As Spam
  • Any emails recieved through the range of smartspace contact forms can now be marked as spam
  • This applies to both standard forms and custom contact forms
  • This spam marking is based on the senders IP address
  • When a user marks a record as spam, it only applies to that user
• Content Placeholders
  • Any Gallery can now be included in a page of content using the placeholder system
  • The format of the Gallery will bhe determined by the Gallery Settings
  • Any placeholder can now be included in Content Category slide down format
• Nominations
  • A few minor kinks have been ironed out of the Nominations processing for more flexible configuration
• Custom Contact Forms
  • Deactivated fields are now included at the bottom of field management (not at the top)

 

Big Fixes

• A Few kinks have been ironed out of the Network Transfer system
• In some cases, deactivated clubs were showing up in the reports of Networks  - resolved
• In the Combined Entry system, deactivated duplicate records was breaking the Add Current Members selection in some circumstances - now resolved
• A Custom Contact Forms bug prevented feild options being input when first selecting a multi options selection - now resolved

Features/Improvements

• Improvements to the Groups Nominations system
  • Enter multiple events in the one process using the same basic setup
  • Attach nomination settings template to an instance and set opening and closing dates for nominations within the instance
  • Save nomination configurations for multiple events in the one process
  • When nomination template is saved to the category, only one set of questions is presented rather than a separate set of questions for each instance/event
  • More streamlined process with express processing
  • Toggle between different stages of the process
  • Login stage is now done after nomination process starts (rather than before)
  • List of nominations can now be used to populate combined entries list
• New Groups Type
  • The new groups type of "Quick Lists" has been created to enable regularly used groups to be able to be added to other groups instantly
  • Any Quick List group can be used to populate any other group instantly
  • Available in the Group Manage window or soon in combined entries
• Custom Forms
  • If you have the groups module, you can can use custom contact forms to add people to a nominated group
  • The group must be created beforehand, then the system will figure out if they have registered before and add them accordingly
• Surveys
  • The admin for surveys has been reviewed and simplified
  • Public numbering of survey questions is now automatic based on the admin order number
• Registration forms
  • The registration form can now be configured by url to present either complete or shortened versions of the form
  • Insertion of username and password is now not initially required as, depending on the circumstance, the registrant will be sent their login details after registration
  • Double opt in registration can be implemented using the url values
  • The type of registration form used in numerous other processes has been streamlined to simplify these processes where possible

 

Bug Fixes

• There has been some issues with PayPal eminating from the PayPal end
• These issues which PayPal does not have a definitive fix for is now being mitigated from the Smartspace end to ensure transactions are processed fully, even when problems are experienced
• A bug which prevented the editing of content in the Database Manager in some circumstances has been resolved

• Groups Module
  • A new format for some group types now available - date lists
  • Names of field headings can now be configured for some Category Types
  • Group Instance form has been improved to place all date fields together
  • More groups now use notes for each individual in the group (by Category Type)

• Graphic Templates Module
  • This module has now been expanded to include Custom Information when ordering products
    • A Custom Contact form is attached to a product subcategory
    • The order can be edited prior to adding to the basket
    • The order is saved to a PDF acessible to both vendor and purchaser after ordering
    • A custom header and footer can be attached to the PDF
  • SEO optimisation is now available for all levels of products
    • Insert and manage custom Description and Additional Title fields for products, sub categories and categories and the main Shop page.
• E-Store
  • Vouchers can now be set as a percentage of the total shopping basket
  • Problems with the Paypal site have recently beeing causing some transactions not to be fully processed at the Smartspace end
    • Paypal calls can now be retried after purchases are made
• Content Module
  • Facebook comments can now be configured for colour (light/dark)
  • The Action Menu can now be placed horizontally or vertically
    • Once set either way, it will always open that way in any area in which it is used (content, images, groups)
• General Features
  • Staff/Access page for individuals has improved layout
    • Email address of individual is now included to see where any emails will be sent to
  • The registration process has been streamlined a little
    • Insertion of username and password is now not required
    • Login details are sent separately
  • Surveys are now available on a normal website page more aligned with other registration  processes
    • A specific survey can be completed without it defaulting to a membership survey of available
  • The transfer system has been improved for greater configuration of the requests and other actions
    • A network adminstrator can now decide if the transfer is a Primary transfer or not
    • Transfer requests can be rejected
    • Transfer requests can be deleted
    • Emails are sent to both parties to the requests where required
  • More reports can now be exported to .csv file once saved

Fixes/Updates

• Displays of the source of membership had become dysfunctional
• The name of membership source is now clear in Membership Details in  a personal record
  • Other aspects of membership display which were inconsistant have now been rectified
• Product option lists in some formats did not display as expected  - now resolved
• A problem with Content Page Panels in the Onsespace framework has been resolved

Features Improvements

• E-Store
  • You can now show associated products on the one page
    • This is done by creating a Subcategory and selecting the Combine products option in the subcategory settings
    • Making various selectitons provides a instant subtotal before adding to the basket
    • When viewing in combined view, you can also select the combine all associated images so that they appear in a slide show
    • Make this selection is made on a per Category basic in the parent category.
    • You can also now force a minimum order in sub category view
    • This is done on a per product basic in the product settings
  • A new Product Category submenu is now available for all frameworks (main menu)
    • The new menu shows all sub Categories in the sub menu leading to Subcategories on click
  • Breadcrumbs for Products/brands/categories etc can now be removed via the Products Settings
• Groups Module
  • Headings for some groups displays can now be configured
  • Configuration is done per Category Type
  • At present, Jobs, Seminars and Classes are supported
  • A new Seminars listing is now available
• Membership Module
  • Memberships can be now deactivated so that they do not show at all in any selection lists except for the membership management page
  • Make the selection in the Web View field
• Communications
  • All attempted contact form sends now get checked against a Banned IP list
  • Messages from banned IPs are still recorded, but are not sent
  • All message recorded (for the past 31 days) can now be viewed at Control Panel > Communications > View Messages
  • Messsages are colour coded to indicate read status and banned status

Bug Fixes/Updates

• The Product Colour Options feature was not fully working
  • Was getting inactive options on the product page
  • Was not always updating when being edited
  • The Url to the selected image color was incorrect
  • It was not included in all shop formats
  • Issues resolved
• Image transfers for graphic designers as not working properly when large numbers of transfers were taking place - issues resolved
• Creating a new article after a Content Category was created was not going staight to the chosen category - now resolved
• A dates for renewal of membership (when done before the end of the current membership) was not always accurate when Intorductory Offers were set in the membership - now resolved.

• Content Manager
  • New Content Category Slider widget now available
    • Show your content as a list of titles (or images) and click to expose the selected content with slider effect
    • Can be used as a Framework Panel or in the Archive
  • Configuration of Framework Panels now improved for clarity
  • Content Access Settings now fully operational
    • Set access to Public, Registrant or Member
  • Improved Image Attachment
    • Image ordering when attached to articles has been replaced by a select list to assign image uses
    • Where necessary, you can set the size version of the image you wish to use
  • The same applies to image configuration for all Framework panels
    • Image sizes can now be set in archive previews, framework panels and article slideshows/lists

    • It is now possible to customise the styling of Secure Processing overlay window

    • When enabled, comments can be made about your content through a facebook login as well as being seen in facebook itself
• Database Manager
  • Network transfer system now enabled
    • Multi level networks can now transfer participant records between clubs
    • Quick transfers can take place between clubs in one network by the network administrator
    • Transfers can be made either with changing primary club (and current membership) or not
    • Transfers between networks within a larger network can be searched for and requested
    • All transfer records are retained
    • Emails are sent to admin targets to advise of transfer actions
  • Database records of deceased individuals can now be handled appropriately
    • A record can be taken out of the normal system and placed in a hidden system
    • The records are still accessible if required
    • When a record is marked as deceased, all databases that person appears in reflect the setting
  • Network administrators can now reset login details where required
  • You can now clear any records that have previously been ignored in a duplicate check to reset the records in another way if necessary.
• Accreditation Module
  • Custom Accreditation Types can now be added
  • Custom Accreditation Duties can also be added
  • You can record whether or not the record is NCAS or not
• Products Prices
  • Another main product display page is available
  • The prices listing has been improved for more clarity of price records
• Sundry
  • A new subscription and registration widget is now available in custom contact forms
  • A new membership filter is now available in Standard Reports which will return only records that have previously been members but are currently not.

Fixes

• Feature Panel Auto Links (widgets) were previously overiding settings in the Framework panel in some cases - now resolved
• The membership renewal/join process was not working as expected in some circumstances - resolved
• Article archive pages were opening very slowly in one specific circumstance.
  • The archive query has now been rewritten - performance now excellent in all circumstances

Groups

• Event Calendar now available for all "event" type groups
  • 2 formats available
  • Basic calendar available only - links to join or nominate must be placed in the event description
• Can be placed into a content page with other content using a content placeholder

Shopping Basket

• Shopping Basket is now available to non framework sites
• User defined discounts can now be programmed in vouchers
• The Shopping Basket now supports $0.00 totals with processing without reference to PayPal or other payment methods
  • This is useful for  processing things like free entry or free membership or even product giveaways
  • Users must be logged in to be able to successfully process a $0.00 basket
  • Registration during basket processing works as normal

General

• Website Author now set through the Trader Details > Manager field
