The Smart Space Competition Manager is now up and running. Stage 1 of the systems allows you to:
Stage 1 displays are limited to predominantly round robin competitions. A future version of the package will allow for results inputs which will mean that results based draws (eg knock out type draws or Swiss draws) will be supported for display and management.
So what does all this mean for the average Sports Centre staffer who wants to put together a weekly round robin.
As always, the efficiency of the system depends on the input of the participants, this being the key part of the whole Smart Space system. Once this is done (new customers should be registered on a daily basis) it is very simple to create all your Teams and/or divisions, then attach them to your selected competition draw using the Competition Wizard.
If you used a pre saved draw and have your teams/divisions prepared, this process will take about 5 minutes. Creating a new team or division can take as little as a minute for a three person team.

If you have a different competition draw which you want saved for you, email or fax it to me and I will enter into the system for all to use. I will also create new Score Sheets and format them for easy weekly management.
